The Mansfield Nordic Club (www.mansfieldnordic.org) has a section on “masters opportunities this week”.
Green Mountain Skimo Citizen Race Series at Bolton Valley / Sugarbush / Stowe Mountain – This winter join the Catamount Trail Association (CTA) on Wednesday nights at Bolton Valley, and Saturdays at Sugarbush Resort and Stowe Mountain Resort for some casual uphill competition. The Green Mountain Skimo Citizen Race Series is designed to get you off the couch and out on snow! For more details go to http://catamounttrail.org/events/citizenskimo/. Participants can register on-site at these events: $10/Race – CTA Members and $15/Race – Non-Members.

Blue Cross Blue Shield hosts Snow Day Events in Vermont with free snowshoeing and x-c skiing. They have a free event every weekend in February: http://www.bcbsvt.com/why-us/community-involvement/events/snow-days.
Smugglers Notch (www.smuggs.com) hosts all kinds of events including a Free Family Fun Race almost every Saturday and Sunday, Winterfest on Jan 28th including a 5K Cross-Country Scramble, a Snowshoe Festival on February 11 and the 16th Annual Northern Vermont Snowshoe Race on February 12 (link to press release, web site)
Check out the website of the ski area closest to you…it is likely that they have a calendar of events & activities as well.
